Talked with Allen last night after he got back from Bill's. He said they got a little rain but the track was still in really good shape. :greenflag:
We will see what happens this morning. Looks like the rain could move north. I'll post the next update at 10am.

Thanks to Allen and all the guys who tried to make it so we could race tonight. And to Big Bill and his crew for the efforts last night.
Reschedule date for the King of the Wings will be posted in a few days.
For all those who drove such a long way sorry we could only get one of the three nights of racing completed. Maybe the weather will cooperate next time and we hope you can make it back.
One last thing. A big thanks to all the sponsors for your support. We still have a lot of great prizes to give away when we finally get a chance to race. Thanks guys!!

An amazing thing happened on my drive home last night, as soon as I crossed the Mississippi into Iowa, the moon came out and the stars were shining, IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK IN IOWA.
Had plenty of fun practicing, but boo on mother nature, thanks to the guys in Maryville, Big Bill and Allen for trying to make this one of the best series of races yet.
Maybe next year.

Man, that stinks. We looked at the weather all week, and just couldn't justify the 34 hour round trip with it looking like rain in the forecast.
Maybe we can get to the make up race - Glad to see you got at least one of the races in. Hard to believe that Mother Nature isn't a sprint car fan...

I'd love to come back there. Between vacation time (Open Wheel) and expenses of flying, etc. Just can't swing it. Disappointing after running so well at Maryville (atleast in nitro).
Good luck to everyone.
