Tower Hobbies (and Associated, but it is out of stock) sells a backplate replacement that will work with the HPI RotoStart. The P/N is LRP38134. Associated does not detail the engines very well, so it was hard to find just a backplate. Here is the link for it. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLBV6&P=PU
Hope this helps you out.

I couldn't find one for that motor specifically. I found this that may work. It is out of stack with Associated, but you could a local hobby shop near you. http://67.199.85.166/main/productdetails.php?text=lrp38111&category=6015.32809

Bob I read somewhere that The lrp is made by sh engines and a dynamite or losi 427 will fit. The lrp .28 is a great running engine and will get the job done for ya.:checkeredflag:

Thanks for the info latemodel13! So if Dynamite is the same, I found a backplate that will let you remove the pull-start without cutting the pin off the crank.
