Is track going 2 be ready? Not much time 2 work in tons of clay, especially w/all the rain we've been getting. Less than a month is all thats left.

For the tour we have a food trailer going to be open from 12:00 to 6:00.We will also have soda and water for sell.Should be a fun Day track is getting better should be some good action.Hope to see you all at Port.They will run the big cars Sat.We will race Friday and Sunday come out and spend the weekend.Thanks

Alright guy gates for Sunday we will open 5:30 Am but if you call i may be there.Sat. night after the race you are welcome to park and leave for Sunday.If you are planning on come to see Port run or race Friday night you will have to pull out Friday but i think you can leave trailers somewhere there, outside there, i will have check.Please bring Genaraters if you have one. I do believe we can plug in to the big lights that are coming they are same ones we had at the Dash for cash. I have one Gen. i will be renting 2 if poss. should be np.Friday we will open the gates at 6:00 racing be at7:30 to 8:00 start time.hope too see you there. thanks Jrcspeedway

Glenn it is right around 270 center on a nitro car a good gear would be 24 60 to start.Not sure on a elec. car.Kieth s could help on that i think.thanks

Thanks Del. I have talked to Keith and have a plan. Sounds like You and Thelma, with help from Mike and his crew, have the track ready to go. Looking forward to coming up. Be there Sat night to watch the big cars then take part in the Tour race Sun.

talked to del around 5pm. he said once it got dark he was going to work on getting the water into the surface and running it in. i know he had it tarped yesterday. he said, they had not got hit any heavy rain today as of 5pm and what lighter rain they might of got would only help to get the moisture down into the surface. he was planning to work the track until atleast midnight if not later. i'll be there by 6am to help with the final track prep. del, thelma, andy, and myself are doing all we can to give the tour and it's racers the best surface possible. trust me the track will look nothing like it did for the offroad practice the other sunday. see you there. mike schell:thumbsup:
