The question has been asked as to the fitment in the Outlaw Cars. The answer is YES. You will need to dremel the front on the tranny brace to keep it from pushing the tranny forward. The cases are machined to fit a b3 style tranny brace and therefore there is a little extra material on the CW mount. Also the tranny needs to be spaced up .030" to clear arm mount. I would suggest cutting a piece of lexan to go under it.

As for the fitment in the Terminator based cars. Some dremel work is needed on the rear arm mounts to make clearance for the bottom of the case.

The reason for the small modifications to the cars parts is due to the fact that the gear diff assembly is .100" wider then the ball diff. Thus making the bottom of the tranny over .100" wider. I tried to keep the bottom of the case as small as I could without hendering strength or performance.

Pieces needed to complete the tranny are:

b3 or b4 topshaft
b3/b4 idler gear and shaft
SC10 gear diff assembly
4- 3/16x3/8 bearings
2- 16x10 metric bearings
motorplate

We suggest starting out with 3000 weight diff oil on loose dirt and 500 weight diff oil on foams. We will be testing lighter oils as well this is just a good starting point. The options should be almost limitless with the new diffs.

CAUTION If you have an older diff assembly out of a SC10 make sure there is 2 shims behind the pin that holds the outdrive in. If there is only one shim you need to get another shim to put in. If not the gears will strip. Associated has recognized the issue and all of the new diffs have been coming with the extra shims.
