New Test Facility

[Team GFRP]

Team GFRP/HD now has a test facility. The track is built on Mark Corns' property. The race line will be somewhere around 100-115'. We turned some laps on it on Saturday. This is going to help out a ton on the R and D side of our cars. We are currently working on some new products that should be introduced in the fall.


He will eventually (probably this fall) be opening the track up to the public. He has to get some more things taken care of in and around the building to make it suitable to have around 30-40 pit spaces.

He was telling us about it last year when he was up to Teas. I was going to check it out when i hit Sprint Speed Week but plans got changed. Hope to see it next year. It's your turn to make it up to our area for a couple races this fall. Keith Mix

Very cool! All Mark needs to do now is put in a carpet track and build me a guest house to live in. LOL.

You can't even mention carpet track around us. I let the guys in TN take care of that.:D

As for bib's those are only in illinois i think.

Actually I was beating him, but that was after I made him turn down the EPA on his throttle. The track would handle a lot more motor than I had anticipated.

We are working on getting a timing system...

Ohhh....take Boone road out 'bout 26 miles. Go left at Wegman's chicken farm and run that dirt road purt near 10 miles......etc., etc.
All kidding aside, a lot of hard work by Mark and it's much appreciated, even after one visit.
Oh...and it's kid-friendly too!
