is there a round of racing on fry?Chad Smith and I are will be working on a schedule soon. In the past we have ran a Dash for Cash Friday night. Five bucks entry fee. Take the fastest 8 out of the heats. Then draw pills for the line up. Alot depends on car count... If we have time we will have a Dash for Cash... :thumbsup: :revs: :greenflag:

We are leaving to come over on Saturday morning and wanted to know what the schedule for Saturday was. We dont want to miss sign up.

Racing schedule for TNT Raceway for the July 17th and 18th, 2009 race is:

Friday: Track will open at noon for practice. Track will close at 7:00 pm.

Saturday: Track will open at 9:30 am. Registration closes at noon. Races will begin at 12:30.

Motels and campgrounds were listed on an earlier post to this thread.

There are snacks and drinks available for purchase at the track.

A sloppy joe lunch special will be available both days if you like. There are several local choices for take out as well.

Please, NO pets!

Thanks for every one that came out to race at the ONS race this weekend, 29 cars total 22 of which were 1/8 Lm's.

I think that the 1/8 LM's made history with a 15 car field, but only 14 were able to make the start of it. I think only 2 people didn't finish, one ran out of fuel and the other broke a dog bone. The track was very busy but I thought it went well, even though the car count in the main. Rob Brewster took his Dynotech "Super Racin' chassis" to the winners circle, I don't think he got into a single wreck for the 45 Lap main. Garry Bates was able to move his way through traffic to claim second and our TQ Mike Dibb rounded out the podium finishers.

Electric sprint winner was Steve Russell III from OH.

Gas sprint winner was "Big Show" Joe lewis from IL.

Tires of choice was foams or rubbers, with some running a mixture of both on the same car. I saw Losi, Ofna's and foams all in the "A".

Thanks for the OHIO gang fro showing up and also the Monee guys for supporting this Indiana dirt oval. A special thank goes to Bill Stevenson for helping a new guy on the computer, it was a great help.

Another thanks goes out to Mike Dibb from WI coming down a few days earlier to paint the out side wall, looks great. Thanks to Gary Bates for installing and painting the inside wall. A huge thanks to Max H. for the countless hours, days, weeks and months he has spent here getting TnT getting it ready for this race. Also thank to my wife Toni and my daughter Tori (the "T" and "T" of the raceway name) for supporting me and my dream of doing what I love to do, race.

I learned a few thing about the scoring that I didn't know and will adjust them in the future, got some oil dry for future down pours, all in all I think for the second race of the TnT raceway it was a learning experience and we will only get better.
