Congrats Bob Godgart on your SB win last night! I would just hate to see you have to start a post to congratulate yourself again!:p:checkeredflag::ha: S(orry Bob for misspelling your name in the title)
what a crowd last night too. 20 big block cars! Real tough to make "the show". Good run by hotaling who made the trip this week to TQ and win after coming from almost a lap down to pass Dave P after a VIOLENT flip on the backstretch, must have been a hard hit as Dave had to ask the spectators "what happened" after the run. Hate to see how Jeff would if he raced here every week!
and why is it that in the Bmain I never heard so much bitching, swearing and complaining about you hit me, move over get out of my way, I thought there was going to be a brawl up on the stand about halfway thru. Its suppose to be FUN and it wasnt even the Amain!

Snyder, your the best....starting a thread before Bob could break his arm patting himself on the back...lol I thought I had a shot at the A main win, but the lappers got me! Congrads to Jeff and the 99 team. Next time bring your DODC stuff so we can have a shot. Being the only car in the 20 car BB field without DODC and TQ'ing by a lap kinda stinks up the show and it's the perfect way to kill this DODC thing...my 2 cents I hope the powers to be are listening!!! See you guys next week!

I will have the DODC stuff next time, I think the results will be about the same.

If someone has the formula for calculating fuel mileage for lipos, please forward it to me... LOL
I know a typical small block or big block V8 gets 3.1 - 3.5 mpg at Syracuse, but somehow the lipo/13.5 deal stumped me last night... braw haw haw haw
-It was an intereting BB A-Main race to watch, looked like Peek was headed to victory lane until a lap car sent him on the scenic route. Nice comeback by Hotaling.
-Nice run by Godgart. He has a really fast small block and is the combination to beat.
-Nice run by Josh Bunn. This is the 2nd week in a row he made the A and led most of it. Good job kid!
-I would like to try an 8 car BB A-main again on a good track.
-The Late model A-Main were sprint cars?!?
-Sprint cars were fun! We need more!!!
-Dave Bryan was faster than the results show. Anybody got a 4 leaf clover, rabbit's foot, etc; ?
-It was good to see a handful of late models. We need Shilo, Watson and some others to show up too.
-Great to see such a turnout. Many clubs/tracks would kill to have the crowd we get.
-Marc Murphy was pretty quick in the main - and did an awesome job in traffic/wrecks. Some are just unavoidable.
-I will try (try) to get up there and groom the track before next week. By main time I don't know if we were running "laps" or "full pulls." A lot of close racing turned bad due to the holes and cars getting out of shape, which resulted in wrecks that were no one's fault. I saw some people get upset, but if they were watching the race instead of driving it, would realize the track caused a lot of the jingles, not the racers. I realize it was the same for everyone, but it just was not very user-friendly.
-All in all, another great night of fun-filled racing...

Racers are always looking for a advantage, I bet 3-4 guys thought about buying non-dodc stuff after watching you T.Q. by a lap monday....adding the weight is a joke, I had a 4 lbs sprintcar that was unbeatable....doesn't matter on dirt. And my response to the comment "I think the results will be about the same" If they are I will take my beating like a man and shake your hand just like I did this week.:checkeredflag:

$400.00? the last time I checked the DODC stuff was $90.00 per. item...anyhow I like having you come up to our place and raise the level of competition, it's fun racing against good drivers.....so don't be discouraged we all have plenty of extra packs and motors...LMK if you need stuff for Monday night.
Also remember I'm only a racer, I'm not the president of the club or the race director....Kirt runs the show, he makes the calls, he's the boss!....I'm only giving my opinion and it may not be the same as the other members.

I need one pair for edm and the other for sprint. I would rather not borrow anyone elses stuff because it usually ends up coming back in rough shape, then I have to pay for it anyways.

I have a pack and a 13.5 dodc package thats a month old...your welcome to abuse them anytime you want. Robracer has stuff too. I feel bad for saying anything, but we all take our racing seriously(like you do) and want a level playing field. That's all, no personal attacks here....just want to have some awsome racing!....not just moving over every ten laps for the 99 car to lap us again!:checkeredflag:

Sorry to chime in late, but better late than never.
First, I apologize for not responding to the battery issue sooner, and with more clarity. There are two criteria that we need to look at, mAh and "C" rating. The rules for this season only in the 17.5 and 13.5 classes allow an alternate battery and motor, with a weight penalty.
The alternate battery can be a maximum of 5000 mAH at 28C. The intent of this ruling was to allow those that purchased equipment late last year before the DODC rules were published to be able to run it this year and not force them to re-buy s soon. Especially the 17.5 guy that is usually less competitive and cost conscience.
I believe the batteries in question are 40C and are not allowed in these two classes, but would be perfectly fine in the EDM open Mod class.
Secondly, let be also apologize for not having these rules more visible and a tech inspector to help us all with this transitional year.
So, for the rest of the season we will make sure that no 40C batteries are used in these classes and if necessary exercise the rules corollary that requires us to modify the rules as necessary to ensure even competition.
I will also commit to having our Tech Inspection for the balance of the season, and will accept volunteers to help Keith.
Let’s also face the fact that we are all racers and will do whatever we can to find the grey in the rules to provide us a winning ride. I truly believe this and by far the vast majority of us want to win “the right way” and there is no intent to deceive.
See Ya..............Later ..........At The Track

To put the thread back on track " Pun Intended" Congrats to "BoB" on his small block A main win..
I almost had you Bob, your car was faster, but I was smoother...and missed almost all the wrecks..
And I did that with a 17.5 motor that I borrowed from Fredette... So as soon as TP produces my
new DODC power plant I'll be there. and it will be lights out for Godgart.:tombstone: LOL
Note: to Kirt Don't forget his extra ounce next week... Ill need all the help I can get..
also Kirt, I am donating a 20 watt PA AMP real nice, and 3 PA horns...I'll pick up some speaker wire, and bring a screw gun, I will come early on Monday and set it up (I will need to get into the Castle).. A few of us had trouble hearing you while we were on the stand or in the pits..

The club now has one heck of a voltmeter, and to keep this thread on topic, so we can check BoB's Battery voltage; and all the other ones too!
Keith; please swing into S&H and pick up one of the real heavy lead cords (from my house, and Pete's originally). They are powering the inside pits and will be perfect for your tech area. Also bring or buy a light on a stand, you'll need it until we get something more permanent.
