May 26th, 2009, 1:27 AM
I hear $200.

MiniT21
May 26th, 2009, 7:27 AM
No, not this race anyways. normally our dash for cash we take 5 bucks out of each entry and give it back as payout. It winds up being roughly 40 bucks or so to win and then we payout the whole A main.

I am the guy who preps the track. I show up at noon, then I water the track heavey. usualy two or three times until 2 pm. Normally it is too wet to run on before 3pm. We are real flexable about sign up, If you are running late call 618-977-1380 before 630 pm and we will let you in. You may miss the first round. Pay out is one third of entry per class, then we take the money from a 50-50 drawing and spread it evenly thruout the feald. Any one who wishes to contribute any extra gets to say where it goes. I am donating 10 bucks to last place in the mini class. Any other questions or coments please call me, because I can't spill or tipe verry good. THANKS Cliff:checkeredflag:

Now that ain't no way to treat me .I figure those guys are the best place to advertise. Not like the 4wd guys who love the smell of nitro in the morning, noon and night. Just because you won last week don't mean they are going to LET you win again. They said they felt sorry for you, being the only one running electric.:checkeredflag:

oh now we will have to see this Saturday. they wont have to feel sorry for me this week i think i gotta a couple more 4wd coming out this week hopefully

Are the minis going to be divided up between latemodels and sprints or are they going to run together?

What is the front and rear tire of choice at Maryville for electric sprints? Thanks

MiniT21
May 26th, 2009, 11:15 PM
Tires are pretty much the same as everywhere else. Our track normally starts with a little more "fluff" on top, so ifmar pins work well early, and when it blows off the inside jobs come in nicely for the later heats and mains. Front tires, i think everybody has tried everything and any rib tire works well. I personally run rounders or wide 4 ribs.:thumbsup:

Do we have a format for tonight? I'm heading up there. First time at Maryville, so look for the green Mountain Dew Car in the middle of the track as you pass...

Just spoke to Cliff on the phone and we are good to go!:tire:

He said that they actually had to add more water to track since it stayed relatively dry. Looking forward to racing at the track for the first time tonight. Time to get the bandits packed up and get on the road.

I agree. Great racing last night. That was the first time this Yankee got down below the edge of the good north border and I had a great time! Thanks to Cliff, Mouse, Leonard, Jeremy, Scott, and a bunch of other guys that made me feel welcome down yonder. Course winning the B helped my outlook... lol... The racing was tight and fun. I'll be back. I'm sure that Denny's loved having us there too.... lol. I've got to hear more of the Cliff stories.

He only let you use it because he didn't know how to use it himself. :redflag:

Although it did look like we finally got him using his other radio without help. Next thing you know he'll be helping the girls with scoring. :ha:
