View Full Version : The Lester Minich Late Model Memorial Race and RC Swap Meet

All Late Models all day May 24. From 1/18 Losi to 1/8 scale Late Models, electric and nitro welcome. There will be 50/50 raffles, Plagues for first place all classes. The plaques will have a picture of Lester on them. Entry Fee is $25 per class. Also a swap meet, anyone interested spaces are free for anyone racing, and $5 for anyone not racing. We plan on running 2 sets of heats for each class. The 8 fastest qualifiers from the heats will be seated in the top 8 starting positions in the A-main. There will be a 2 driver "bump-up" from each Main below the A-main. The A-Mains for every class will consist of a 10 car starting grid.*Gates will open at 10:00. Sign up until 12:00. The pay out will be = to 20% of the class sign up. Top 3 payout for each class. Each class will have a different payout, so the more in each class the more the payout. Thank you from JRC Seedway.

Prac. will start as soon as sign ups and tec. are closed the race will start around 2:00.

After thinking about this all day yesterday I don't see any way I will be able to make it back home in time to be to work at 3 am on the 25th.

DIRECTIONS TO THE SPEEDWAY
Port Royal Speedway is located midway between Harrisburg and State College.
Take U.S. Route 322 to Port Royal exit.
Follow Rt. 75 South approximately 1 mile to the town of Port Royal.
If coming from the PA Turnpike:
Take Exit 14 and then take Rt. 75 North approximately
40 miles to the town of Port Royal.
you must turn left or right onto 4th Street (at the Little Cafe).

HHHHMMMMM looks like racing fun on the Memorial day weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope to make it and maybe bring a few buddies with me. I'll be in for 13.5 LM and if enough show mini late model either stock or B/L
