straight axles?

why are straight axles not allowed in the 1/10th 2wd classes?

Really no need for them to be included. There are certain tracks where they would work ok and some tracks where they may even be an advantage. If they proved to be an advantage than you force other racers to buy a straight axle car for selected tracks or be uncompetetive. Plenty of cars on the market that already fit the rules and it would not be healthy for dirt oval racing in the long run.
