If it was like last year then it will be red tapers early and inside jobs after the fluff goes away.

I think Chad meant to say Losi red IFMARs early/when track is heavy, then m3 inside jobs, OR (since inside jobs are getting hard to find) Losi pink/red taper pins. Green rounders worked good up front.

No practice on thursday. We were considering boats but the marshals would get boged in mud. I don't want to get dirty.

I took me a look at the track tonight, and it is looking REAL good. If it doesn't rain we are going to have a sweet track thursday. The score keepers are practiceing too.

The Skoal Bandit is heading out to Maryville on Thursday night! I'm meeting Cliff for his brushless system for my mini, and then I want to get some laps in! You guys run pin spikes on the rear correct ? Do you sell them onsite ?

Thanks for getting me out there tonight Cliff, I had a lot of fun and it was definitely worth the hour drive. A great track you guys have out there.

I've got my mini-skoal bandit dialed in and I can't wait to race out there. The losi bowties on the back end have the perfect amount of slip & grip for my car.

Not a bad night of practice for me, I just wish I had got there sooner to try more things on the new car/motor/speedo/batteries...The track was great, nice having the lights moved up so the bugs aren't annoying you while racing. Really lookin forward to saturday.

I had a great time tonight....Its the first time I have even driven my new mini latemodel...or the first time I have ever drove an r/c car for that matter. It was a blast even though i spent more time spinning out than going in circles. Thanks to Cliff and Doug for all your help. I feel like im starting to get somewhere! Sorry to anyone who's way I got in last night...i need a yellow rookie stripe on the back!:ha::ha:

Yeah I am using proline bowties on the rear end. For my setup I've got:

90 weight oil all around
Right front - Stiff spring w/ two of the thicker spacers
Left front - stock spring
Left Rear - stock spring, 1 thick spacer
Right rear - stock spring

It has my car set pretty well for both Smac & Maryville.

The big problem is that Jeremy let me drive his MDM last night and now I'm wanting to build one.:D And good job Matt on your first time...I didn't know it was your first time ever!
