Anyone have something they think worked at Open Wheel? Considering April Shootout/LM Nats. Spec Latemodel specifically.
Thanks in advance,

Was looking for 13.5 class setup. Not sure if that would be lots different than the limited LM setup someone here sent me. Might be worth a try.

I will try to get Hillman and Watson to get you some info. I know the two of them have been running well with the LM.

Thanks Lauden,
I knew you were running a modified version of the latemodel. That should get him really close.

For spec 13.5 with spec battery
What shock lengths Front/Rear
What shock positions
Number 2 pistons I assume?
What chassis height?
How much lead and where did you put it?
How far off center you have the battery located?
Did you have standard arms all four corners, not a short right front arm?
What diam tires, what rollout.
Packing my stuff Monday night, be at CLT about 10:30a Friday.
thanks

Thanks for the info.
On the shocks, are you running 2.42-2.50 center to center on the front, 2.62-2.70 center to center on the rear?
Also, are you guys having more luck running shorter (2.55) tires than taller (2.70). As long as you get the roll out you are looking for, guess it doesn't matter?
Thanks again,

i personally measure the shock shaft length in stead of overall length. i measure from the bottom of the shock body to the top of the ball cup. I would run a smaller tire at c&s just so it doesn't roll over on the side wall as easy. and i use rpm short ball cups.

Well, went with a bit of a different setup for Shootout and seemed to work. Should have probably stayed with a softer right rear as it was rotating a little much. Either way it was driveable and consistant. Not the fastest car, however, little luck never hurts.
Silver touring car spring LF
Green touring car spring RF
Silver (9#) LR
Black (8#) RR
50 WT front
40 WT rear
thanks
