Has anyone been running the electric or nitro late models with success? I've basically only ran my nitro LM at the Open Wheel, along with my electric at our local year end race then the open wheel.

We are starting a 2wd LM class locally and curious as to what other guys have been running. Currently running LF 16 RF 14, LR 8 RR 6. 50 wt front/30 or 35 rear. Wondering if guys are trying TC springs in front?

Looking to go to LM Nats, like to mess with my car a bit before hand.

thanks in advance,
al

We've been running 10.5 LM and I've had success with Windtunnel springs. 9lb on both front and 11lb LR and 9 RR. 30 wt oil all around. Need any more info PM me.....Todd

Hello, I was wanting to put some droop in my car. I am using the IRS red shocks that came in the kit. I have a set of rc4less springs. The springs are too long to allow droop, even with the collars all the way up. Do I need longer shafts? or shorter springs? If so any recommendations? thanks in advance

Just put longer shafts in the shocks and use the Associated spring buckets.

Ok, It seems to work out that way. Does the arm need to fall freely at the point where the spring is unloaded? It seems to slowly fall because of the oil in the shocks (30 wt #2 piston)
I just bought the havoc and I really like it, I think I am a long way from a proper setup though. I race at raceway42 Mansfield Ohio

I am looking to compare springs from diffferent companies. Is there a tool or method to be able to compare these springs to one another?
Thanks Ed

we use a small digital scale, ( 0-17 oz. range ). an arch like fixture with a screw jack (1/4 inch bolt), to apply pressure on spring on scale. works well to compare one spring to another.
