well, the snow is finally gone off the race track and its almost thawed out. i have a lot of work to do because the clay settled about 4-6 inches. sunday afternoons i will be working on the track. if anyone wants to help out just show up on sunday. i have a lot of brush to clear so we have more room for parking. if you have any pruners or heavy duty cutters bring them along.

Have no fear, I am an expert at supervising and watching others do the hard work, I'd be happy to lend my services. ;)

I'll be out of town this weekend, might me able to make it over next week.

The best way to deal with man-eating sticker bushes is to convert them into teenage-son-eating sticker bushes :)

Need, help. You can count on me. As long as the weather holds up, we'll be down to help you, buddy. The hard part will be keeping my daughter away from the kittens. LOL, or from being the flying great gonzo on your trampoline. :D

ok...... we instantly went from freezing winter to hot summer weather in one week. last week it was freezing at night. gotta love the northeast spring weather. me and dave got quite a bit done on the track surface this weekend. the blistering hot sun and 90 degree weather made it a perfect day for sifting clay and doing track prep. the top of my head looks like a tomato. :checkeredflag:

Work day sunday the 10th
let all help out kippy so we can start racing - i know there are a lot of us that want to race at the new i81 speedway -
kippy is a hell of a guy and is trying his best to do what he and his son can but i think a few more of us need to step up and help out - he is only one guy doing the work of 5 - remember last years free practice sessions lets pay him back with a few hours of our time to show him were serious about racing and seeing a new track come to the area and lets all make it work -
were all here for the same reason , were all a big family , lets support kippy and his efforts to make something nice for everyone to enjoy - the sooner its ready the sooner we can start racing -
thanks for reading this and i hope to see you guys on the 10th

I'll be able to help out more on saturday. Sunday is after all mothers day; & I'll be taking time to go visit with them. Sorry boys, but if Johnny wants to go play; then he sometimes has to pay.

Kippy needs to buy a box of insta-midgets. You just sprinkle them on the tracks surrounding area, spray with water, then after 2 days of germination they sprout, bloom, and BANG insta-midget work crew! :o:ha:

Sorry. I don't mean to poke fun. I just know how much it sucks trying to rally help. Operating 2 facilities and getting both ready myself this spring so I feel your pain! Hopefully you guys can find a clear date to have a work-bee.

any saturday or sunday afternoon would be a good day. track should be ready for a practice day this sunday if there are any takers. as far as weekly points racing goes its going to be awhile yet. things are not coming together as quickly as i hoped they would. i will keep working at it and hopefully have some sort of schedule soon.
