Yes there is. Sunday Sept 6th. Labor Day Weekend. Sprints only for the KOTW this year.

About now some are probably thinking Sunday??? Have no fear we have a plan. I'm pretty sure this will be the biggest weekend ever of R/C Sprint Car racing in the state of IL. :trophy::trophy::trophy:

i am betting after the last points race she wont be tagging along to kotw. she was a bit stressed after figuring the points with a crowd waiting. i cant wait though it will be an awsome weekend of racing

Maybe if everyone agreed we could give the Series Sprint awards on Sunday at the KOTW. That way she would only have to worry about figuring the points on a couple of classes Saturday night.

Last year the KOW was in October and not on a Hoiday weekend.

We have more travlers coming this year and wanted to give them a sampled of the great tracks we have around here. A Holiday weekend was about the only way to make it work.

I think the week will go something like this; Wed.=Allen's Wensday Night Thunder program, Thur. = Maryville practice, Fri. = Maryville $$$ race,(details soon to follow), Sat.= Big Bill's West Central IL Points Series Race, Sun.= Allen's King Of The Wings Race.
