I really like the Old stuff, curious how the LA cars work though with the really short
wheelbase.........Wonder if George would let us use a regular EDM chassis w/ some sort of "spec" motor, and batt.Like 17.5 w/ a Li-Po or something????Might draw in some more cars.
What do ya think Gerge???

what you had mentioned would certainly draw more cars, but dont sell Georges cars short, they handle great and provide some of the closest racing of any class I had ever ran or had seen run at his track. I think a full field of retro coupes would be a blast for you guys to race as well as watch:thumbsup: In fact the 10 races I ran early last season, that was the only car of the group of cars I had that would handle perfectly on any track condition:D:checkeredflag:

Just a word, the Retro Coupes are a spec class, you must use a Retro Coupe in that class. As I have said before if you have four cars to run together in any class we will run it. If it is to run every week, that is up to you to bring the cars. Some people have accused me of planning to have mod electric chair races when i get a few years older! You bring it and we will try to find a way to run it. George

LA guys, you read it in the last post. Are there any guys who would consider running an Oldies class using a Terminator or GBX,with say 17.5 w/Li-Po??
DODC legal set-up?? Rubber tires ? Foam? I only throw this out there,as I can't afford a new car to run the class.MY Terminator is an old 2.25 style car.Post up.Thanks George

We will sell a kit of special parts needed to build the Retro Coupe for $75. This includes the chassis, rr body mt, spacers, rr wing braces, rr chassis brace, rr shock tower mt, ft shock tower, and rr shock tower. You can then add your own Custom Works and Associated B-4 Parts to complete the car. The kit will come with a list of parts that you need.

Well George,I gave it a shot.My whole thought was to get out of buying any chassis or parts/pieces to run your retro class. Was hoping for input from some of the other guys who like the Old stuff, but as of now,I guess nobodys' interested.Oh well.

By the way George,Thanks for opening up the class for 17.5 brushless.Chris gave me a call and said you'd go ahead with the DODC 17.5 set-up.

Well, George. . . You almost pulled me out of retirement with what looked to be a very cool class. Unfortunately, I do not want to have to buy another car. Your spec car may only cost $75, but it only fits B4 parts so I'm SOL with my B2 and B3team.

LMK when you promote a retro class that I can use what I already have.

Kool. Maybe I will blow the dust off the B2 and save the B3 team to convert to sprint later on. Took a look at it and I just need to replace all the rusted screws. Maybe I'll stop by the store during the week.

Now I just need to get my brother out of retirement. Last time he was out, tubs were still gold!:ha:
