Wow! I want to thank Allen and Everybody associated with the Sunday Races at Allen's Raceway. The results are in for the March 15th raceday - and the top 5 were all within 2.8 seconds of each other and 6th place Gary Brannon was a mere .065 seconds away from being on the same 52 lap pace (if only I hadn't wrecked him in the first couple of laps... sorry Gary)! Now THAT is racing boyz! This winter season has been the best I can ever remember for close racing, having fun and not spending a kabillion bucks on parts. I think we've all made some new friends and seen some old friends drop by to share in the fun. We have to remember that it is all a lot of work for Allen, Barb, Mark and Chris to put this on EVERY weekend. Thanks Guys and especially Barb for the fantastic grub!

You're all winners in my book!

I just call him the "Slow one" or "Number 2"....:D

As for the other comments I agree. I’ve had a blast the weekends that I was able to make it down.

Looking forward to Wednesday Night Thunder on the Dirt this summer. I just hope we can get someone to paint Allen’s sprint car Green as well. :p

Still two more races there slick.

We'll see about that now that I finally brought the car home for the first time ever. Too many things are starting to fall a part on it now, and I guess I'm gonna have to finally get rid of the stock shocks and springs. :ha:

I have to agree with Jim, Its been a good winter season. Allen and crew have put on a great race week after week. Racers are great and will help you anyway they can. Mouse I lost the plugs and went faster. LOL all in that if you think its so it is. Last race was my best yet. Even with the little bump at the begining, Not your falt Jim. As long as I can be in front of Scotch-Brite all is good.
Thanks to Allen, Barb, Mark, and Chris for all the work.
See you Sunday.
Cant wait to get outside.

I agree, it was a great race. Unfortunately you all had to deal with me being the blocker car out there. I knew I was going to be slow that race, all I had was my worst battery pack. I used the good one up in the B. I did my best to get out of the way, especially after leading the first lap and getting lost. LOL. I just need a little more speed and a road map. The speed is coming, I turned 3 51's on the day.....

Race #7 is up next on Sunday, March 22nd. Just two races left in the Indoor Carpet season here at Allen's (not counting the Mini Late Model Shoot Out in April).

Race #6 saw an exciting finish in both Late Model classes, and there is no reason Race #7 will be any different. Only a few more opportunities to get some indoor racing in before the weather gets good and we go outside!

Practice is @ 9am
Racing is @ 1pm

As always, all information can be found on the website at

Shan and I will be there... Shan's looking for her first A main win. Just needs to keep it between the rails a little better. Started at 27 laps in the first season and has steadily worked up to 45. She'll be passing the ol' man before long. Great time together this year for both of us spending our Sundays racing. Good quality time, and we helped Losi stay in business with the 65 bulkheads that we broke. I have to be the fastest bulkhead swapper in the pits by now... LOL
