This past weekend at the Brinks 100 at Brinks Speedway (www.brinksspeedway.com) I smashed the old unofficial track record in the Stock EDM class with my JRC DD EDM! Although new records must come from mains to be considered official...the old unofficial record in the Stock EDM class was 68 laps in 4m01.000...but in round one of qualifying I put in a strong 70 lap run...and then in round two set the high mark for the weekend and also the new unofficial track record with 71 laps in 4m03.170!!! That 71 lap run put my JRC DD EDM on the pole for the A-Main...but a bad start by me and then a car that had a terrible push dropped me to 3rd at the end of the A-Main.

In Stock Sprint...I TQ'ed for the A-Main and ended up 2nd...just a half a second off the lead!

Overall...a good weekend for my JRC sprint and EDM at the 3rd annual Brinks 100.

Yeah what Russ said, I couldn't be any more proud of your accomplishments over the past couple of months, you are definately a top notch spokesman for Team JRC Mid-West.
Thanks for all you support,
Mike

Thanks a lot guys! I just wish that I could have closed the deal and finished as well as the weekend started.

It's an honor to be a part of such a top notch team with cars that work as well as my JRC cars do. I owe a lot of thanks to everyone on the team for helping get me up to speed and to help me to get my cars dialed in.

I'm expecting bigger and better results in the future.

Thanks again...I'm looking forward to racing with you guys again...maybe we can get some of the other Team JRC drivers to make a trip out to the Midwest sometime for some racing.

Good racing this weekend Curt....although you'll understand I don't feel too bad that you didn't win every round! :D

Your 71 lap run in qualifying was most impressive....only one lap slower than the mod sprints and outlaw late models!

So much for my unofficial 68 lap record that was a whole 3 weeks old....you go and beat it by 3 laps!

Look forward to racing with you again soon...

Colin
