I am not sure about 10th scale Sprints electric or gas. Not sure about 10th Nitro Late Models also. I am just gonna list racers names for now. If I can sort them out by class I will at a later date. meeting is next saturday and the rules have been set for the nitro series race months ago.the only changes made this season will be to the 1/10 classes but not the bombers.special announcement forthcoming soon about music city r/c in the next week.:D

sorry I didnt respond to any of the questions yet I've been afk.ok here goes guys.we will not be able to rent the lighting towers for this race,it costs 500 for the weekend.last year I had to donate 250 worth of gift certificates from the restaurant in trade for the lights plus put out 150 for diesel.the track will not make 1 cent from this race.the entry is 25 right?10 dollars of the entry goes to payout that day,10 goes to points payout at the end of the year,and 5 dollars goes to the hobby shop.that still leaves us nothing.there is 1 power pole and plenty of power if anyone wants to bring a generator and help out there fellow racers with power that would be great.I have a couple hundred feet to loan out also but bring your own also. the track should be ready to practice by 2pm friday and run until you cant see to drive anymore,thats about 6-7 hours of practice.we will get up and rolling in the morning at 10 am sharp so we will get the show in.once everyone gets here and we know how many entries there are we will know how long it will take to run it and will schedule the day accordingly.it is our intent to run the mains in the evening before it gets dark.hope this helps.

brad that would be great! you guys will have people coming in from every where some will there later then others. and would like to get some pratice in . and 5or 6 hrs driving as far as i have seen some of the guys are driving . i am sure they will like to make some laps driving that far.those rental places wont cut u some kind of deal if u tell them u will hang a banner up for them. or somthing . think you.:thumbsup:

I do not want to raise the entry fee. I think everyone understands that problems do happen. I was not expecting 90 to 100 racers. you should think last u only ran 8scale. bomber . elect sprint. this year u are talking about . 8th open. 8th limit. bomber. nitro sprint. 10th late model.electsprint. am i right. an u should and might get in to night fall. u wouldnt wont that to happen and not have lights. just a thought i would be setup for 90racers then not. Instead of spending 500 for portable lights why don't you install about 4 light poles and put up permanent lights? I'm not talking telephone poles and expensive lights. I would think with some volunteers you could get it done.

I'm driving 8 1/2 hrs. I have no problem chipping in for lights I would hate to see the schedule get shifted just because of daylight.

Brad has reserved the lights for us. So not to worry about getting enough practice time. And for the racers coming in Saturday morning should be able to get a little practice in also. ok boys kick the tires and light the fires music city got a facelift this weekend.THE PIPE IS GONE!!!!!!All new infield wall was installed and the old pit road was taken out.we will get the new pit road installed this week and picts will be posted.also track has been partially groomed,about 1000 more laps on the tractor and it will be ready lol.Special thanks to jamie hoskins and BAY METAL SOUTH for the materials.Thanks to jody and his buddy for the shovel work.If you are coming please reiterate to donnie so we can get a count of racers for the food,if you havent decided yet,at least list yourself as a maybe.

Joe entry fee for all the car's will be 25$. The only race that the fee is different is Big Bill's $$ race. the way me and my dad are going josh is south on 65 to the whitehouse, TN exit ( believe is exit 108 ) east to 31W then turn right for 2 or 3 miles. the track from what i remember is actually in the next town but it will be on the right hand side just behind a little strip mall. i also believe that there is an old army supply place just before the track but im not to sure on that.

I'll post up more picts after tomorrows grooming.I couldnt even get on it today due to the 2 inches of rain we got last nite so I finished pit road.I got about 250 total laps of grooming before the 4 inches of rain we've got the last 4 days and it held up decent but I'm sure it will get better after the track tac is applied;):revs::revs:Forecast is clean and green lets go racin boys.:thumbsup:
