FDOS goes to the high banks or SS Raceway for Race 3. Ronnie plans to till the surface and treat it prior to FDOS weekend, so there will be plenty of grip for the daytime racing. Anyone interested in getting some practice on the surface, there will be a club race on Saturday and the track will be prepped the same as it will for Sunday. Sunday start time will be 10am and we expect to follow a tight schedule just like at race 1 and 2. This will be our first race w/ mandatory personals. If anyone planning to run does not have a transponder yet, please contact me to asap, and i'll try to arrange something.

SS Raceway has chosen the Bomber class as the track optional class. Rules will be the same as run for weekly races at New Red. If you wish to run this class select the 'track optional' class on the online registration.
Please read up on the class rules as well as the general rules, some of rules have changed.

Class Rules (http://floridadirtoval.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=10)

General Rules (http://floridadirtoval.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=420)

The Schedule:

FRIDAY
Track Prep/Practice only, no racing

SATURDAY
2:00 pm club race(good practice)
Pretech will be going on throughout the club race day, for anyone planning to race Sunday. If your there get your car teched in, it may save you some time come Sunday morning.
SUNDAY
7:00 am gates open
7:30 sign up opens
8:00 track opens for practice
9:30 practice ends/registration ends
10:00 green flag

As usual cars must go through technical inspection at the beginning of the day and after each qualifier. So don't hesitate to hop in the tech inspection line with your ride ready to practice that morning. AND remember it's ultimately your responsibility to follow the rules, just because something may get overlooked in one time in tech does not make it legal.

Please pre-register, it really helps get the races started on time. If you have been to race 1 or 2 and are using the same transponder in the same car, you do not need to provide the transponder # for the car.
