open Latemodel motor?????

Looking at possibly trying that open 1/10 lm class, I now it is fully modded motor, but what would a couple options be for C&S? LMK:)

depends what you want to spend. i like nova rossi, and rb concept engines. never owned one of there engines that that wasn't fast or had any reliabilty problems. the rb concept r3 is a very potent engine. i have a 3 and 5 port nova rossi 12 plus. they are also very good engines.

Hey Steve, I think Stan Brackett had an Ofna Picco Red Dot last week in his win, Kiser is running a Nova Rossi, pm him and he will let you know what particular engine it is.

I know I should but I just can't get into open anymore since they removed the sidedams you know.. I guess everybody thinks I am being a ******* about it but no need to run something you don't want to run you know.. I thought you weren't going to run open....

i wasnt until they changed the side dam rule because i did not wont to play the hp game but with the current rules its more about set up we ran 5.0 laps sat so you still need some hp just no stupid hp made it a hoot give it a week or 3 i think 4.9 poss a 4.8 is possable with some more work

It appears the discussion is back to why some are not running open. I think there is already a thread going on this topic... I am just curious of what is a good choice so I dont blow a wad on the wrong motor.

no its not back you ask what motor so I said tg.. or nossa ts1 is a good motor.

steve you can run the red dot it seems to have good power or you can check with kizer to see what novarossi hes playing with it will allso run fast some my try the tz too dont think you need major hp but tg will not make the grade i dont think

I ran the jl racing picco red dot all last year in the series with open sprint, it's a good motor at a resonable price, I put approx 3 gallons through it with no issues.

I was kinda leaning that way also on the JL red dot, I have my eye on a rossi also, but we will see. thanks for all the info, I hate to spend the money when I don't need to.:D
