After the open wheel there were tons of posts here from people airing their complaints with the spec motors. The venting of that frustration was obviously not entirerly out of line.
Now that the Freeze has come and gone, and the new motors have been put the challenges of a big national race, AND there were NO issues, AND the spec classes were very well supported AND the spec classes produced some great A Mains on Sunday....
Where are the posts that would reflect the positive side of the new spec classes?
Granted, I didn't go through the frustration of the original motors, and I only put together a 13.5 ride just prior to the freeze, and I am so new to electric that many people had to step up to help me even get the thing on the track... I still want to voice my opinion that these classes are great, the spec concept is great and the race was great!
Good job DODC crew- the concept and the execution came together and worked just as you said it would! And if it matters- I would not have gone electric racing if it were not for the new spec rules. Keep up the great job!
