Spring Shootout April 25th, 2009

Over 3000.00 in cash awarded to the A-mains of this 1 day event. We know times are hard and many of us can’t spend plaques or trophy’s so we’ve decided to give you something you can spend. Each A-main will receive a payout of 300.00 for the top four finishing positions. Additional door prizes will be provided by our sponsors. The following payout will apply to all classes with 10 or more entries, if less than 10 entries in a class the pay-out will be pro-rated.
1st 150.00
2nd 75.00
3rd 50.00
4th 25.00
Double bump ups in all classes with 20.00 going to the winner of the lower mains.
2 rounds of Ifmar qualifying
DODC rules apply to all 1/10 scale classes
2009 C&S Raceway Rules apply to 1/8 scale classes

THIS WILL BE A NATIONAL DODC POINTS RACE

Track will be open for practice on Friday from 3pm until 10pm
Controlled practice on Saturday morning from 9am-12pm

Sportsman Latemodel is just like limited but stock clutch and stock flywheel. The class is mainly for new racers,like me.:D

As bad as is seems, we never get an EDM to show up at any regular weekly races. I used to run Mod EDM, and finally gave up and sold the car because I could never run it.
I like the EDM's better than LM's, but I run a LM now because I at least can race.

Drop your car on the track and you have two laps to show what you have. It would be quicker that way and you can have the track to yourself for two laps. If somone has trouble getting thier car started, go on to the next driver(s) till he gets his car going, then let him qualify. Thanks again for putting on the event and helping get my stuff together for me as I'm not a local. As far as dry slick, wish that was the worst our local track got. Still was fun running real clay and getting to see a few guys one more time during the year.

Hopefully get back out there in July.

Thanks to Dunlap I actually was able to finish the main without running out of fuel!!

I guess i need to quit racing, I thought i knew what a dry slick track looked like, I saw one friday night at Carolina , but Saturday, the track was grooved, fast and better every round. Cambo missed a good one, Steve and Kip did a great job as usual, only the results could have been better, LOL.

All I ever ask is for the track to be predictable and it certainly was. It did exactly what is always does. We ran the same setup in the car from the fall. Keep up the great work!
