Please use this poll to indicate your interest in the DODC classes to be run at Smac Trac. Full DODC rules can be found at the ‘Rules’ link at the top of all forum pages.
***NOTE*** These classes HAVE been accepted into the racing program officially.
There’s been a lot of scattered info in terms of what classes will be run and who plans to compete in each. I thought a poll like this would be an organized way to record interest in a given class and perhaps provide some guidance for those planning on purchasing equipment.

I placed my vote, but why no Nitro?

The addition of a proper 'pit lane' would sufficiently compromise the track layout (robbing width) to the point that Scott has elected not to run any of the DODC nitro classes. Also, being an indoor track, running in the middle of the summer, ventilation was also a major factor in this descision.

I voted but hope ya'll vote more as this is a 4hr one way trip for me. But it's gonna be the closest DODC local track to us. FYI-all my loose track stuff fits the open mod rules so that's my vote and wishes but hope to run there as time and funds allow.

Ed...none of the classed will be running side dams....not even 4WD. The EDM class seems to provide the most aero downforce....I'd pick that if you want to run a DODC 2WD class that provides the most aero 'stick'.
If you want to run a 'full body'...the class is DODC Latemodel (pick your power level...17.5, 13.5, Open Mod).
