I was reading over the rules and where it says :
Late Model bodies may have openings for cylinder head, fuel tank access, glow plug, engine tuning, and exhaust outlets only.

Im assuming that means where I had to cut out for my air filter so the body would go down is illegal right? and if so the what filter are you guys running that will go under the body without laying on the throttle servo or bulging the body up?

thanks Jason

I would say that It would be illegal. What type of body are you running by chance? I run a McAllister Bakersfield body I run a motor saver air filter on my engine and have no clearance problems.

Yes you can open up a space for the air filter. I use the stand up Ofna filters.

Thanks Signman, you know in the rules it says you can cut hole for this or that but doesnt say anything about the filter and the first paragraph says if its not listed assume its illegal. Thats why I was asking.

But anyway thanks for the clarification.
