I need a starting setup for the wide sprint car, for a short track (110') clay oval. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Either PM me , leave here or email setup help. toddgrear@cinci.rr.com

It's the same width as mine and i have 35wt front & rear. And for springs, i got 6lb. Front and 7lb rear.

Whatever Weg's has been doing would be a great starting point. Depending on which shocks you have I like to run a little heavier oil in mine to keep it from pitching the weight to one end or the other so fast, it keeps them easier to drive...for me. Usually 40 minimum in a sprinter or I don't like the twitchiness, that's just me and I only run mod with them.

Springs will be in the 6-9lb. range front and rear, whatever suits your driving, Just like Mike.

Take a peak at Flynn's car also, I'm sure he's in the same ballpark.

It seemed like most the people i saw ran AE buggy silvers on the front, the kit springs on the back, and 40 wt. oil. I believe that was on the baseline setup sheet he had posted for the loose track cars too.
