I understand that tackling all these rules are a massive undertaking, but if "NO ONE" is ambitious enough to finish up these rules,I.E. wing rules/ drawings TBA, then "NO ONE" should belly ache about what wings we run on buggy tire cars. Finish the job you started or have the integrity to post that you obviously don't care to govern that section of dirt oval racing.

Even that is open for interpretation. Central IL Points Series last year was 7x7 w/1"wicker... overall dimensions not to exceed 7x8. See what I'm saying?! I was running a canted center section, so I gotta make one anyway, but I stand by my earlier post, finish the job or admit that you don't want anything to do with governing buggy tire oval racing. The real issue for me is that most all the tracks we race at in west central IL say that they are on board with DODC rules,(or lack there of?!). Not their fault as they had no idea that the powers that be would be dragging their feet like they are. Sorry if I've offended anyone, not my intention, I just want definitive answers.

Agreed, its time to start getting stuff ready for summer time, and would like to get graphics done, as well as wing mounts/wing done.

Well if no one in an authority position with the "rules comitee" cares to adress the situation, (YES THAT IS A DIRECT CHALLENGE!!!), then all of us forgotten buggy tire racers should just do as we did last year & collectively ignore what ever lame,"after thought" wing rule they decide to impose. Originally I was all for a standardized set of rules, but apparently they don't care to finish what they started, so why should we?

Guys,
I aplogize for not having the drawing done yet, I will try to have something posted shortly. It has been very hectic here in the last month or so with several more pertinent issues, like shipping Outlaw kits to all of the buggy tire racers we are ignoring!

Overland Racer,

I was without internet service during the holidays and could not tend to all of the questions posted here as quickly as I normally would. Posting your question three times in a 9 hour period is just a little redundant I believe. If we wanted to ignore the buggy tire racers there never would have been a 7x7 rule to begin with or rules for buggy tire dimensions!

Thanks for your patience!

Rob

As I posted earlier, it was not my intent to be a "keyboard cowboy", or offend,or "be a little redundant". Apparently that is what was needed to get your attention. Being a man of your position at the"Premier Oval Car Manufacture", I find it unacceptable that you were without internet access. Again, not trying to offend, I feel that we deserve answers. Riddle me this, what good is releasing a purpose built, highly anticipated "Outlaw Sprintcar Kit" with out releasing the coresponding rule for said car??? (If there needs to be anymore name calling or irresponsable comentary, lets just pm, thanks)

No name calling here. I beleive I stated my apology, where Im from that is the equivalent of "owning up to my responsibility". You did not need to get my attention, you just needed to give me a chance to get on and read your questions, sometimes that may take more than a few hours. As I said we are not purposely ignoring anyone, other things have just taken precedent to the 7x7 wing drawing and for that again,
"I aplogize." For the record you can expect the wing rule to be pretty similar to the NSCS rule currently in place.

Thanks,
Rob

I am posting here to say that after a couple of PM's back & forth that Mr. Cutman & I now understand one anothers positions respectfully, & I have full confidence that the wing rule will be addressed in a timely fashion.

Thanks for taking the time Rob.

Respectfully,
Jim A.

Im really wanting mcallister 7x7 wings to be legal. Its what we have been running for years. I think dimensions from it should be the rule.

Jenzo, I would agree other than last year the rules allowed bigger side boards than what the McAllister comes with.

Im not good at building wings or painting. That thing i used last year was too much wing.. Tony mitchell made it, it was made too the rules.
