I just put together my new JRC EDM this week and had a chance to race it in the Stock EDM class at Brinks Speedway (http://www.brinksspeedway.com) today. Thanks to Mike for set-up advice. I made a few adjustments during practice and was on rails all day long! I TQ'ed with 64 laps in 4m00.040 (the previous best was 63 laps in 4m02.490). I went on to win the A-Main. :trophy:
Thanks for the great car and for the help with setting it up! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Curtis-
Glad to see that everthing went together so smoothly, that is the main reason the kits come so fully stocked. Great job w/ the TQ and A-Main win, keep us posted of your future results.
Thanks,
Mike

GREAT JOB at the USOW!!! Congrats on your win...I would have to rank yours a little above mine for the weekend. ;) (ok...maybe more than just a little) :D
I'm working on set-up and getting used to the car...I really like how it drives. It reacts well to the changes that I have thrown at it. I am looking forward to racing it at the Freeze in a couple of months!!!

Last night was supposed to be the debut of my new DD JRC EDM at Brinks Speedway (http://www.brinksspeedway.com), but esc problems during practice forced me to get the back-up ready.
The track was very good and my gearbox JRC EDM was the best that it has been all winter long. I TQ'ed for the A-Main and went on to take the win as I set a new track record with 66 laps in 4m03.410.
This care is AWESOME!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yes I did have some handeling problems w/the EDM, but it wasn't the cars fault ! I over adjusted the rear shocks for a tight condition & went to far & was as they say "loose as a goose" Car was fast though & am looking for better results next week. Sprinter was awesome, & fast. Congrats to Dale, Nick, & Steve on there awesome runs in the A mains. For Nick & Steve it was the depute of the JRC Nitro Sprinter. They did a hell of a job coming from the Bmain to finish 2nd & 4th in the Amain. Looking forward to the Freeze ! GO FAST TURN LEFT ! Keith S.:thumbsup::checkeredflag:

Hey...I have to give a shout out for a friend of mine that races with me in the Stock EDM class at Brinks Speedway (http://www.brinksspeedway.com) and is now a satisfied JRC customer.
Gary Fairchild and I have been racing together in the Stock EDM class together for a few years now. A couple of weeks ago, Gary picked up a JRC EDM. Last Saturday was the first time on the track with the JRC, and it ended up being one of those days that you spend getting used to the new car. Then last night Gary raced his JRC for the second time. He qualified second for the A-Main and then went on to take the A-Main win! Also...last night was the most laps that Gary has run in that class at Brinks...and he had the fastest lap time in all three rounds for the Stock EDM class.
Way to go Gary! :thumbsup::thumbsup: Glad to hear that the car is working for you!

Thanks Curt but with out some help from you with a good setup I would not have ran that well this soon with the new car. And yes I do like the new JRC it worked great. Cant wait for the boarder battle to see if I can run good there as well on both tracks. GOOD LUCK at the freeze and bring some hardware home.

A couple of weeks ago I started driving my JRC DD EDM...which has left me with a second car sitting on the shelf. Last night at Tea's Raceway in Rochester, MN...Dan Filbert of Ultraline Motorsports (http://www.ultralinemotorsports.com/) was behind the wheel of my JRC gearbox EDM in the Stock EDM class. Dan adapted to the car quickly by qualifying second for the A-Main just behind my DD car! Unfortunately his run in the A-Main ended prematurely with a broken front a-arm. Thanks for wheeling the car Dan! You did a great job. We'll have to let you try it again. :thumbsup:

Todd,
Thanks. It was nice to meet you this weekend. Hopefully the next time we are racing at Tea's, I can take a look at your car and see if we can get it driving a little better for you.

Thanks Curt! I have some more things to try yet that I think will make a difference. Then I just need to get some track time also being I'm used to running on carpet. Hope to see you there again.
