After Mr Salvas pointed this rule out on another thread, I decided to check my tires.

MY Rc4Less Wheels are 1.020-1.030, but the actual foam tire is within the legal width.

The rear tires and wheels are ok.

My BSR front wheels are within the rule, but the tire is wider.

Could sombody please clarify this rule.

Foam Tires:
Max wheel diameter: 2.0”
Max wheel width: 1.385” rear, 1.000” front
Max tire width: 1.435” rear, 1.050” front

I guess I'm confused as to why there is a max wheel width. If there is a max tire width wouldn't that kinda depict the wheel width:confused: I guess this makes all front wheels illegal...

If you include the little bumps in the CW wheels (part of the wheel) mine measure 1.02".

In looking at those numbers I believe there is an error listed there. Before making this rule we measured the various tires and wheels already produced and intended to make the rule widths large enough to encompass what is already out there. Just looking at those numbers I believe they are numbers from our gathered data and not what the rules was intended to actually be. They should have been round numbers but I dont have that info with me right now. I will look at it tomorow at the shop and post a clarification here. Thanks for posting this info. And thanks again to Dylan for the positive outlook, you sure are a ray of sunshine!

Make the fronts 1.1" and the rears 1.5", this should give everyone some room for manufacturing variances. The last CW fronts I bought measure 1.05"

I am pretty sure that is what they were supposed to be, but give me till tommorow to double check.

Sorry guys, forgot to post this last week.

Front width is 1.1"
Rear width is 1.5"

I am working on updating the rules page now to show the corrected data.
