SprintCar Wing Rules

I was trying to find the link that showed the drawings for the Sprint Car Wings and their dimensions.

I would like to know if the 6 in x 6 in center sections include the 1/2 inch wicker at the back side of the panel or is the 1/2 inch wicker at the back in addition to the 6 inches.

On the Custom Works Wing the center panel is 6 x 6 plus a 1/2 wicker at the back but the rules dont reflect this.

The CW wing I have measured 6"x6" without the lip at the back. When I built my new one, per the rules I read on here, you were also allowed a 0.25" lip at the front as well, and I believe that is also not included in the 6"x6" measurement, but a drawing would clarify it.

Drawing will be posted later today but to clarify the question. The Center Section can measure up to 6x6 plus you are allowed an additional 1/2" rear spoiler or wicker. Basically the wing can not have a total chord length of more than 6.5" from leading edge to trailing edge.

i dont know if this would make a difference or not but is there a rule stating how far back or forward the wing can be on the car?

I wanted to be sure of that length before I made up some Wings. I will include the 1/4 Leading edge or "turn down" with the 6 inch length .:thumbsup:

This will insure the 6 inch chord length before the 1/2 inch wicker at the rear of the center section.:greenflag:
