13.5 Spec: DirtOval.com SPEC 13.5 MOTORS and DirtOval.com SPEC Li-Po 3200mah batteries are the only motors and batteries legal for this class. Sensored speed controls only. Spec motors and batteries will be available for purchase by November 1, 2008.
I need to get me a 13.5 and lipo this winter, I don't want to buy one twice, Where can I get the spec motor and lipos. Nov 1 is close and I cant believe the powers to be don't know where the product is coming from.

Can't be for sure ,but if it's the same manufacturer that supplies Hacker & Losi as stated in an earlier post on National Rules thread, then no the timing is not locked. I have run a Full Throttle Motorsports (Hacker Motor) all summer & can honestly say DODC has chosen one of the best motors on the market. GO FAST TURN LEFT! Keith S.

you will need a brushless speedo that can run a sensored motor. The brushless 13.5 motors and batteries are spec DODC so make sure you get them at the track or from local hobby shop Are these motors brushless???
