My wife and parents chipped in and got me a Dynotec Boomerang for my birthday. The car came already put together, so I really know nothing about it. I haven't taken it apart yet so these are pretty stupid questions, I just have enough time to put the shocks together and mount a late model body before racing on Saturday.
My first question is what kind of bevel gears are those?
How is the diff adjusted? Is it in the outdrive like an Associated transmission?
Thanks for any info.

It is a tc3/tc4 diff, adjusted in the outdrive.

You would adjust the diff the same way you would adjust most any Associated ball diff(GT trans, b3 trans, stealth trans). Use a 5/64 hex driver in the left rear out drive.
Any questions please let me know.
Chad
It uses 2.25 diff rings and the same thrust assembly as the GT trans.

Thanks for the info. My first race with it was pretty good. I did too many adustments before the main and ruined my finish but the car was extremely fast. I ordered the brace to make the chassis more stiff today and several other parts just to have spares. The car is great.

I thought the car came assembled. Is their anything else you can think of that I may need to complete the kit except for springs and shock oil? Thanks for the help.

Just springs, oil, tires, body posts, and body. A dynotech bumper if you're running late models.
What is the two more bearings on the top shaft thing?
