Congratulations to 2008 WDRA Super Dirt Series Point Champs

I want to extend congratulations and a big thanks to all of our Putnam customers and team drivers for winning all four of the 2008 WDRA Super Dirt Series point titles.

-EDM Small Block Champ: Kirt Coonradt
-EDM Big Block Champ: Jeff Hotaling
-EDM 13.5 Champ: Bob Baker
-EDM Modified Champ: Jeff Hotaling

-2008 Brides Maid Awards:
-Jason Blum, for finishing 2nd in points in 3 classes: EDM Big Block, EDM 13.5 and EDM Mod- Awesome Job!

-Bob Godgart finishing just 3 points behind Kirt in EDM Small Block. Since Bob and Kirt are traveling buddies and both work together @ Autotask, I can only imagine what the water cooler banter will sound like! Awesome performance guys!!!

-Gotta also mention a great finish in the series to Tom "Baker's Agent" Anderson (3rd in 13.5) and Shilo Boyce (3rd in Big Block). You guys had some A-Main wins and were a threat at every race. Nice job and congrats!

I can't find all the words or thank you enough for this year.

When you stepped up in March to support me to ensure the CD R/C Racers would have a Race Director; I never dreamed the year would turn out like it has. It has been a blast! Nothing will ever match the looks on the other drivers faces in the early days this spring when we where ride sharing.....Priceless!!!

You are indeed welcome, as I told you throughout the year there was a certain degree of pressure that goes along with running the #2; and I'm proud that I was able to put the car where it's used to being; on top.

Many, many , many thanks from me; and for all you do for all of us as well.

Thanks Todd. The Putnam power never let me down (once I figured out the freeze spray, that is ;) ). The 17.5's we are running in BB @ Radio Hill now seem just as stout too.....

I'd also like say thanks to Team Putnam for a great experience at the WDRA races. With Todds Guidance and great equipment - I was able to fun up front all year long even though I had never traveled to a race away from home.

Thanks to Putnam Racers Jason Blum and Jeff Hotaling for your sage advice on shock and tire combinations.

And a special congrats to Kirt on his SB championship. You worked hard for it buddy and It has been a pleasure to share the racing experience and success on the track together.

Thanks guys for the kind words. I must admit, I have to think back to Pete Willis and feel a special gratification as also being the Race Director for four of the events; just like Pete used to do.
