I just finished racing my first season with my 08 Putnam Pro Car, finished in 3rd place overall in the West Central Illinois 4 track series:trophy_bronze:. I have been pretty happy with the car, but am wondering what is required to widen the front and rear of the car? My plan is to use a 10" body, such as a Custom Works Eldora.
So any input would be very helpful, such as arms, axles, CVD's, camber links. Please let me know the Manufactures and if possible the part numbers. I want to try and work on it over the winter and be more competitive next season:revs: :tire:.
Thanks,

You can go with several options. You can contact Chad from Dynotec here on this website, he has longer arms for the front and i think some new longer arms made for the havoc, basically the same/similar car. You can also contact KRC (Kranzels 717-737-race) and they carr a wider front bulk head and rear arms mounts that place the rear arms out wider.....

almost all of the terminator type car manufacturers make a wide version kit. since you have a putnam car maybe todd would be the one to talk to. but, like i said there are many different options. you can go with longer arms , or a wider front bulkhead with wider rear arm mounts.

Robert,
Why do you want to widen it? Are you traction rolling? Contrary to the old Pontiac ads, wider isn't necessarily better...;)
Call me at the shop and we can discuss in detail what your car is doing, and I can suggest changes, bodies, etc;
