I'm sure some of you heard about my recent development of some new parts for the Ofna GTP dirt oval car. I have decided to put these parts listed below into production.
The new parts were debut at the Big Bills $$$ race, the parts performed flawlessly. These parts along with the Standard Ofna GTP part# 34316 car kit , yielded a TQ of two classes and two "A" main wins. The car handled extremely well and was the car to beat, not the driver to beat, the car to beat.
The changes that I had made to the car were the following:
Part# 10010...Dynotech Racing's New carbon fiber shock tower(for use with TC3 style(length) shocks)......$30.00
Part# 10011....Dynotech Racing New carbon fiber rear shock tower (fro use with TC3 style(length) shocks.....$35.00
Part# 10012.....Dynotech Racing Front One-way assembly....(Drop in replacement for the front Diff, no mods nessasary)...$150.00(effective 08/21/08)
Associated TC3 touring car shocks and springs.....$50.00 available from your LHS
The sum of all these parts are $429.99(including the base car $189.99). This gets you one of the best handling, most cost effective 1/8 scale Late Models on the market.(shipping not included)
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
Thank you for your interest.
Chad Smith
P.S. If interest is shown, we will be making one-ways for the other makes of cars in the future.

I was there & Chad's car was THE car to watch at the entire event. It looked super fast, but easy to drive, & could run low or high. I want to put one of these togather after watching Chad dominate, & we don't even have a class for them where I live! (it was that cool!)

Chad's car was bad fast for sure. I was thinking about building one all weekend as well and still am for that matter. Car did look like a blast to drive around there. One questions though, who made that body you were running as it was the only one like it that i saw?? Later and nice runs Chad.

The body was a Xtreme racing 1/8 Dirt LM .060 part # 10486.
Hood was modified from the stock pull.

I hope Chad sells a bunch of these parts for the Ofna. Some guys are hatin' on him because he put togather such a killer car. The race at Bill's along with the parts now available will promote 1/8th scale racing as a result of Chad's performance. Good show man!

Chad,
Congratulations on the Great handling car and your win. Will the Ofna Oval car with your hop-ups include the hardened diff parts and if not can they be purchased seperately through you.
Also, will you include the stock front spool ,to be changed back , just in case there are any ruling conflicts .
You are alway's pushing the envelope on technology and the rules.Keep it Up

Will these shock towers work on a standard Ofna Hyper 7 buggy? I am converting it to electric late model. Thanks. I checked the website and don't see the new towers. Am I overlooking something?

I still cannot find the towers on the website. I have searched and looked where I thought they would be and no luck. Can someone push me in the right direction? Thanks.

Thanks. I will do that. I assumed (bad thing) that if they had part numbers assigned, they would be on the inventory.

No problem. I understand you had to develop and test them first. Looks very promising for my Hyper 7 electric conversion.

It seem that there is a problem with the heat treating of the out-drives.
If you have one please send back the out-drives, if you haven't used it, and send back the whole unit if you have used it.
If the out-drives are to soft it will wear out the out-drives and cause the one-way diameter to get notched, and may cause the one way bearings to be clogged with debris.
We harden all the parts in house and apparently didn't get them hard enough, I'll have them sent out to get them harder than they currently are.
We will cover all repairs and shipping to fix the parts, if we can not fix it we will replace it.
Is it the same thing I am running, yes. Dimensionally they are the same thing, apparently the steel was different, and hence the Rockwell hardness suffered.
To all of our customers, I apologize.
Thanks.
