Well, another WDRA Summer Nats is in the books. The Putnam Propulsion customers and team had a great showing, and I believe we TQ'd and Won every class we competed in.

Random Ramblings:
-It was great to see the excitement from Mitch Wing when he won the 2008 Putnam Pro-Car Give Away. This was the first race back for Mitch and racing buddy David Bacon in 13 years, and now both have top notch equipment to compete with. Congrats!
-Fred made the trek all the way from NC with Aaron Crumpler. Reggie Hammer made the NC-NY trek as well.
-The track is a pretty cool facility to have in the middle of your lawn.
-Scott Hotaling should have his own trackside cooking show...possibly on the Dreamworld Cable Channel?
-I eat as good when Scott cooks at the track as I do at home - sometimes better. Thanks for all you do Scott, the food was excellent!
-Chase Moran ran more laps than most cars, and never held a transmitter...
-I believe Mike Jeffery was attempting to start a new "Nitro EDM Drifting" class. Someone on his team with chassis knowledge should have helped him get his car under control, as it certainly wasn't fun for those who were trying to race, and that certainly couldn't have been fun for him either- I blame Dylan...j/k ;)
-Where are my 5'10" folding trophies?
-No one crashed Solly's wedding...except Solly.
-Ed Strada is the real deal...at 10 years old.
-I had fun wheeling Keith Harris' Nitro Sprint. It was all brand new before the race, and if anyone is interested in purchasing the Nitro Sprint Dash/A-Main winner, let me know...
-Keith Watson had a great showing on Friday in Small Block, qualifying 2nd behind Coonradt. Electronic issues retired him on Saturday, which really sucks.
-The WDRA Summer Nats made 16 Straight TQ's for Putnam Pro-Cars / Pro-Terminators.:revs::trophy:
-Fred and Terry were MIA Saturday night as they were with Ridley at the Land of Legends, where he continues to lead the Sportsman points. Ridley leads the points at Weedsport as well.
-Also MIA Saturday night was Steve Salvas, as he is the chief pit steward at Drummond-
-Chris and Chico did indeed 'bust their butts' to put on the show. At one time, I actually saw a crack in Chico's...Just funnin' ya, Chico!
-6 Capital District R/C Racers made the trek to the Summer Nats, and everyone made the A-Main in every class they competed-nice job guys!!!
-Kirt Coonradt and Bob Godgart are quickly becoming the WDRA Small Block guys to beat.
-Paul runs better than any promoter I have seen...but don't tell Rupert!
-I missed seeing / racing Pedro and the High Winder.
-Carmella is the new Putnam Team Mascot, and the best behaved on the team, too.
-I didn't get to visit with Fred or his Lemonade nearly enough, but any is better than none at all-
-Getting home @ 6:00am Sunday was a little rough.
-Saturday, Reggie looked like he was getting it together and was going to have a good solid showing, but than bad luck struck. If that wasn't enough, his Dad tagged a deer on 81 on the way home. That sucks-
-Jason Blum and Rick Pickens work together all week @ Troyer, then together @ the track. Pretty cool -
-Between Loughead, Shilo and myself, we field more cars as we race..and have a blast doing it!
-I like winning money!
-There's times I can honestly say that I enjoy being an 'owner' more than a 'driver.' Nice job to Kirt Coonradt on taking down his first ever WDRA Series Win...:checkeredflag::trophy::beer:
Thanks to all the hidden heroes that make these races happen, and Special Thanks to all the Putnam Propulsion supporters, customers and team for keeping us out front...

Eric- I wasn't sure if what you used for a motor in your sprint. LaLaLou lalalapped the field!!! Thanks for posting!
Reggie- Good point, but it's cheaper to buy meat than hoods and fenders...and these animals wonder why we hunt them. Have you ever heard Ron White's deer hunting skit?!? too funny-

Todd
Thanks for the kind words; and allowing me the opportunity to run your (our) car while also keeping up with the running of the DC R/C Racers program. Believe me, there is plenty of pleasure in this for both of us.
See Ya............At The Track:checkeredflag:
