We have noticed some wear on the center shaft of the trans.
To fix this wear issue remove the center shaft assembly by taking off the pinion gear from the bottom of the center shaft, remove the drive pin and shims( if any) and take out the 3/16 X 3/8 flanged bearing.
After the bottom bearing has been removed, put (3) 3/16 X 3/8 bearings(standard wheel bearings) in the bearing cassette and reinstall the bottom flanged bearing. Then just put the shim and drive pin and pinion gear back on and you ready to roll.
This will fix any problems with the shaft wearing.
Installing these extra bearings will also lower the load on the bottom bearing making the trans even more efficiant!
Sorry if this has caused any problems.
Sincerely,
Chad Smith
