It is a CW cage that has been modified.

We were making good progress on the new cages until we started the nitro car. Now I have to redo the cage sides.

thanks for the interest

how long before the nitro sprint version to be out....

We are on revision 2 of chassis design. no real clear date on when they will be ready. We want to make sure we have a National Champion caliber car before we release it.

thanks

thanks for posting the pics I'm glad to see that someone put our hood a set of CW sides. Now I know that it will fit really nice.

Looks good.

Try going to buggy silver front springs next time. They are a little longer and won't get as springy as the ones on the front of your car.

Are you all using the stock front arms or the longer ones?

Team GFRP
September 29th, 2008, 2:53 PM
We have found that using the wider arms is only advised when running on a loose dirt track with buggy type tires. For foam tire racing the standard narrower arms are the way to go.

the two tracks we would run are are loose tracks and we will be running buggy tires. Have you run yours on a carpet oval yet?

Team GFRP

For loose tracks we do recommend using the loose dirt arms. It will make the car wider plus equal out the widths front and rear when using B4 wheels. There is a baseline setup posted in our forums for the loose dirt cars. As for carpet, I'm going to be doing some testing in about a month.

Sounds good. Please keep me updated on the carpet testing. We might be able to get an interest in out area.
