The next event on the 2008 JRC Sprint Car Challenge Series is set for Saturday, May 31st at Little O Speedway in Sanborn, NY. So far, one event has been completed and one event has been rained out for the 2008 season. A decision will be made shortly in regard to rescheduling the Fingerlakes Raceway event.

The first event of the series held at Redneck R/C, found Dylan Watier scoring the win with his new Hyperdrive Havoc SC. JRC team drivers Dave Harris and Mike Jeffery finished second and third with the new JRC Lightning, while Jim Cronk and Barry Wallace rounded out the top 5.

Over the first 2 events, 13 drivers have signed in at least once. This is a strong indicator that the sprint car class is making a resurgence in New York.

Anyone who has been to Little O in recent years knows that one of the main attractions is the food. This year JRC will be sponsoring the food, including the WNY favorite, "Beef on Weck" sandwiches.

Let's get 3 heats of sprinters this time!

Jeff I think 75pts was just for the WDRA....looks like those are the points from Redneck with the drivers who entered at FingerLakes for the JRC series

Jeff,

I think what Bruce meant was that the 75 show up points was for the WDRA Series only, not Mikes Sprint Car series and that Mike had just listed everyone who has entered his series.

Not yet Jeff. I should have them later this week. BTW good run w/ your CDK, I know that I was holding you up, when we made contact, just a racing incident. Hope you can make it to the next couple of shows including the Flamingo race @ Finger Lakes. I'll bring the donuts!!!
Thanks,
Mike

 Well it looks like I got all the points I am going to get :blackflag: . Middle of June the powers that be, at work in their omnipresent, infinite wisdom   decided that we would change work schedules . So I have been having to work every other weekend, plus one day on my "off" weekend.

Thanks Mike for the few races I did make. After being out of the hobby for 15 years, it was fun to get back to dirt. Maybe/hopefully I will be able to pick up a race here and there. As Lauren Wallace says " I'm 100 miles away, an ready to strike"
