Race 5 Recap:
Even though there were a few drops felt and seen the rain stayed away and we got the show in! Not only was it hot off the track, it was hot on too! Something let go in Floyd Holton's Sprint causing him to crawl around the track the last couple of laps and Mark Mosher nearly stole the win from him at the line. Thankfully there were 8 people on the finish line to call that one! Ronnie Setser came out of nowhere in 8th scale. He Bumped up from the B main and through all the madness won by 2 laps. Ray Barker Jr must have taught him a lesson in the 4wd Outlaw Late Model race previous when he beat Ronnie by 3 laps. James Albury jumped into the lead half way through the Stock Car race and had to keep his eye in the mirror for Greg Derenthal as any mistake would cost him the race. 2wd Late Model was putting on some good action for half the race when some entanglements caused Larry Rarer and Troy Pirez Sr to fall out of contention. From then on it was a 3 way battle. Mark Mosher notched the win. Tim Harper led Floyd Holton across the line by 1 second to take Outlaw Truck/EDM. Mason McCombs showed that you can win from the back when he lined up erroneously but traffic helped out for the win in 10.5 Late Model.
In looking at the Points you will see Larry Rarer has tied up Nitro Sprint. Congratulations Larry! David Mosher has claimed the victory in 10.5 Late Model. Congratulations David. All other classes and positions are still up for grabs! Its not over until its over! (yeah its from the 70s)
