some were running li-po, some weren't. Didn't seem to make much difference. we've been running 13.5's at RHR for awhile, and they are generally 1 to 2 laps faster than a stock 27 turn motor a good car. in a not so good car, probably not much difference.

Maybe you should try a different brand of  -goggles. If that does not work, try reading it sober....couldn't resist.

Anything for you Solly...try it now.

TQs for the day were:

Big Block 19T:
Kevin Ridley, 63 laps, 4:03.08

13.5 Brushless:
Bob Baker, 62 laps, 4:01.41

Small Block Stock:
Frenchie, 57 laps, 4:02.86

I believe Baker was running LiPos, and there is less than a lap between his TQ and the 19T TQ. Stock was quite a bit slower, but I know that fast stock guys can run well over 60 at RHR.

Well since you posted that, I have another request. I need the date of the Summernats changed, I kinda have something else going on that weekend.

Speed is faster than a stock motor for sure, but handling, if its not right, knocked some laps off them. They get thrown into the turns harder, and the Lipo's are lighter, getting the weight distribution back was my issue. If you can't get thru the corners cleanly and fast, your just not going to turn in the laps. A lot of the guys have the handling figured out very well, and it shows, I think Baker had 63 laps the previous week, just more traffic this week.

either way you're going to need a ride there

Team Putnam provides chauffeured transportation for Solly from R/C Dreamworld to any race within the continental US.

Sometimes by Chinaman pulling a Rickshaw, other times by Hemi-powered Durango, complete with Solly-Surround Sound DVD Cineplex, frosty beverage cart, etc; :beer::revs::tire:

NIP, I'm gonna put him back in diapers, then take his shoes off, then let him run around the track drinking Coca-cola out of a baby bottle while he plays in the dirt (i've seen that too
many times at Nascar races!!!!!!!)
