I picked this up about 3 weeks ago at a local race.
I cleaned it up and polished the tubes to a satin like finish. The nylon suspension was quite yellowed, despite using several whitening ideas, so I decided to dye them blue. The body is what came with it and is probably not correctly fitted, but that is how I got it.
The transmission is a trackmaster belt drive, the motor is a vintage trinity mod, the battery is an old sanyo 1400 nicd, and the servo is a futaba s-132.
I added a white MIP ball bearing steering kit a New set of team pit-stop turnbuckles and RPM ball cups. I have washers under the front suspension mounts for some caster, but have cheetah caster wedges on their way to me. I think I also have a set of 30deg white carriers that I can dye to replace the black ones
I was going for a red/white blue theme, but might dye the rest of the white nylon the next time I have the blue dye cooking
The first 2 pictures are how I received it and the last 3 are the current progress. I need to get a better body, wing and tires.
