Email Notification....?

Its seems as though i am not getting email notifications of PM's now..... not even in my spambox.... anyone else have this issue?

Spam mail, regular mail or not at all. Sometimes all in the same day.....

Hit and miss here too...Sometimes get them all at once for PM's and thread notifications??

PM alerts were globally turned off last weekend because of the massive amount of bounced alerts, spam warnings from AOL from people who automatically marked the PM notices as SPAM, and people responding directly to the PM alert e-mails instead of using the PM system to communicate with someone.

I get 250-350 e-mails a day, and a large majority are from SPAM from a former DO administrator and DirtOval.com errant user PM alerts.



You can manually turn your own PM alert messages back on in your User Control Panel, but please make sure that your e-mail address is current and up to date, and that dirtoval@gmail.com is on your list of accepted addresses in your e-mail program. I had to change the site contact e-mail because of the massive amounts of spam coming from this site's former e-mail addresses.
