I haven't had any trouble with the stock one that comes with them.Clean it and change brushes when they are worn it will run fine.

use the stocker, keep it clean, heavier springs on the brushes and make sure the brush shunt don't get hung .

can you pass on the number for trinity springs and brushes-we can't find any number for them- we've been using losi brushes but i'd ASSume trinity would be of better quality even if they cost more they would probably make the losi motor run faster-anyhow thanks --rich

most brushes all come from 1 place. manufactures just put their label on them for the most part.

99% of the mini brushes are the samething and the motors are so cheap if you want better performance just get a new motor.

This is not completely true... I've found that the Reedy brushes, for example are slightly smaller in width, which lets them move in the brush hoods more than I like. For that reason, I've stayed with the LOSI replacements..
HOWEVER.. If Putnum has brushes for these things, I'd bet money they are the way to go...

Just use a Team Associated 19T Reedy motor. They're small and super fast.
