We have designed a new trans case a brake assembly for the GT style trans.
The trans uses all the current guts of the Associated GT trans and removes all of the current brake assembly.
The trans case is a direct replacement for the GT trans no mods necessary to fit your current vehicle.
The trans uses our braking system that we currently use on Dynotech's super trans. Included with trans case you will get the case half's, the brake arm and the brake drum and pivot pin. The case is very stiff and the brake arm pivots off of a 1/8 pin in the side of the case. Case is low profile and has smooth sides to aid in cleaning of the case.
This case was in Phil Coopers EDM this weekend and he did some testing with it this weekend and was happy with it's performance, thanks Phil.
Attached you will find a pic of the trans. The list price for the Trans/brake package is going to be $75.00. They will be available end of next week.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Chad Smith

Chad, I really like your New GT Trans.Case . Does this case eliminate your aluminum trans. spacer # E3101 ? If it does will the rear shock tower bolt to the bottom back side of the case ? Also will the New brake work with your # E3201 Gear adapter or the # 4105D GT Stealth gear adapter so I can use a standard GT top gear.
Thank's Chad, You are alway's coming up with Great New Product's to help us maximize our performance on the race track.

I found out from Chad that this New Transmission Case is a direct fit where a Stealth Transmission would normally fit. I can use either his Slipper Eliminator or the Gear Adapter .The case does not need the small spacer that is alway's so hard to fit and line up at the front mounting holes thru the chassis. A major benefit is a Much more consistant and better braking action that wont fade or need to be adjusted as frequently as the stock one.The New trans case is also much more rigid ,allowing for smooth and long lasting operation.
Thank's again Chad. - Dangerous Dave :D davetech racing

What does it look like once it's installed, linkage attached.
Just got mine in the mail, super quick shipping!! Thank you!
Is there a special adapter or some do-dad for the wire to slide through and provide adjustment?
thanks

Got mine all installed, everything fits. Not exactly sure how to attach brake linkage to the brake. I'm not completely done with the car, still lacking some parts. Thinking of using a losi throttle linkage slider thing, bolt that to the brake, then put the wire through that with some fuel tubing/collars.
Anyone else have theirs installed? Maybe a photo?
thanks

yes i to had the same problem just be sure to put on the tallest gear possible and do your measuring so that you dont get all done and go to put on the gear and it hits the linkage hint hint i went out and got a peice of square brass tube that fit over the brake arm and then mark and drilled the hole for the mounting and then i used a du bros 4 40 shock end and bolted that above the mounting hole thus running my brake rod through it out to the back of the car to make easy adjustment of the brake on the fly if you want pics i will take them tuesday afternoon when i get home from work gotta go to bed now gettin up at 330am stinks hope that helps
