Mostly I have used one narrow arm on the RF for increased steering.(works very well on paperclip tracks like C&S)

So you would want to run one on the right front then for better steering correct?

Depends on the track- it will suck in the RF which should help free the car up, especially on entry, but it also shortens the effective lever between the contact patch of the tire and the spring, which increases/stiffens the spring rate.
The normal adjustment to compensate for this would be to put a softer spring on the RF. Many times there isn't a softer spring to go to, because if there were, you could have used that to cure your tight condition and wouldn't need the shorter RF arm in the first place.
