Hi guys , i have just run my slider on the local track and was looking for some help.

The track is a wooden floor.
it is 20m x 10m overall
14m straights 2 m lane width and 3 m width in the corners

my car
it is stock, with the wing a high and as far back as possible.

my problem

no rear traction, i can feather the throttle and get it to move down the straights but as soon as you turn into the corner the car swaps ends, both at medium and full speed runs.

things i have tried

i have moved the wing back, added weight to the left rear, camber from 0* - 3* on the front, adjust the slipper for less punch.

because i am overseas and don't have easy acces to tyres and other items i require a shopping list ,

photos of the track not quite finished but you get the idea

Do other cars have the same problem? If some one else gets around without spinning, find out what they are doing.

First thing - with a gym floor make sure you sweep it clean with a yarn type sweeper. Next - make sure your tires are clean - use Simple Green. Those tires should hook up on wood floors.

try some shock clips on the right front. keep adding till the car stops spinning out.

take off shock clips on the right rear...

do you have any excess to wd40 ? if so spray some on the rear tires and let sit for a bit and wipe off. doing this over and over will soften the rubber.

lower the car by adding some type of limiter to the inside of the shock body around the shaft. this will make the car roll less from side to side.

thicker shock oil if you got it, stock is way to lite. i recommend for what you are running on 40-60 wt.

take off the front wing....

hope this helps.

A suggestion for rear tires... Try ProLine 'Bow-tie' tires for the Mini-T -- they are soft and have a lot of small "pins" (they actually look more like 10th scale HoleShot tires in terms of the tread design -- just shrunk down to 18th scale....)

Trim all the brake out of it.

Turn up throttle trim till the car begins to roll, then don't back off all the way in the corners. The little car has inheritant trailing throttle oversteer.
Shim the shocks like George said till it begins to push, then turn it with the throttle.

It may not be the fastest set up, but it will get you aroung till you learn.

Sorry, misread the "usually run" part
