Well our second season is in the books and I would like to take a moment to Thank all of the racers , Sponsors, Tracks and the Tour Committee for another successful season ! I also would like to Congratulate all of the Winners in the Point standings as well as all of the winners and Tq's throughout the Season.
The final point standings were won By: Bryan Boyd in Nitro Sprint Followed by Mark Blake, Brock Heffner, Randy Minich,and Nick DeAngelis rounding out the top five. The EDM class had Russ Lebo bring home the big trophy and cash followed by Mike Schell,Nick Deangelis,Tyler Oswald, and Perry Whitmoyer rounding out the top five. The Truck Class was won By Johnny Oddone AKA Fireball Johnny followed by Brad Wilson, Loren Taylor, Paul Sweitzer, and Wayne Pine rounding out the top five. The Late Model Class had Mike Schell bringing home the top prize followed by Loren Taylor,Randy Minich, Brian Strausser,and Jim Fries rounding out the top five.
The Top ten in each class received a trophy courtesy of Norton Sign and the top three received a pay out of $125 for first , $75 for second and $50 for third courtesy of Shenandoah Solid Surfaces Corp. Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to the points sponsors.
The car raffles were a huge success again this year with Custom Works, Bms,TLR and Associated all donating cars to be Raffled off at our last race. The cars were won by Nick Deangelis (Custom Works), Russ Lebo (BMS), Steve Brokenshire (TLR), and Ben Novinger (Associated). We would like to say Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to all of the Sponsors.
We are already in the planning stages for next season and we will release a schedule soon for next year! Pictures of the last race will be up soon on the tour's Smugmug page.
