That's when those two pictures were taken, I got'em straight off of Mike Boylans website and he was bigtime into dirt oval back then. Back in those days, If you raced oval at all, Dirt was a major player since captire concrete oval was just then getting huge.

That is so funny I was just looking at an old RC Car Action from Sept of 89. It had a great write up by Wally David about the 89 nats.
I was working at BoLink and went up with a new Do body we had done to give a few away. Got hooked into doing a lot of Trching that weekend with Tom Crowe.
I think that was the first experience the East Coast boys had with the Advanced Gran Prix tires. They were 1/8th scale fronts and the California boys used them on RC-10 wheels. In 2wd you had them or got outrun by them. Man was that track hard. Article said over 350 entries. That was a heck of a race. It was the year before the Landgraffs built the 2WD Intimadator. Dave Guerin was a piece of work. Great track to race on. There were 95 in 2WD Stock, 49 in 4WD Stock. 4WD Stock A-Main was all CW cars in th Mod 4WD A-Main Martin Buchannan from the famous Racers Haven track in Bakersfield,CA driving for Neal McCurdy was the only Ron Young Superior SRP-1 car. He finished 5th.Cliff Lett won the 2WD Mod using the soon to be released Stealth Tranny.
Lots of great memories from that one.

Omg, you mean that pic hasnt turned brown?I too raced there every sat and was at the nats.I started out with a grasshopper 2 super g on the off road, when Margaret,Brian and Dave wanted me to run oval instead. So Dave hooked me up with a Dominator and i ran that,2 wheel stock and production.Ran my rd10 championship graphite in production, and another rc10 chassis with a stealth or trackmaster dd.Man i miss that place.Hated that they left there and moved downtown.Have any more pics?

Count me there too. 2wd Stock and 4wd Stock. Ran an Ultima in 2wd and an Optima long chassi in 4wd. Didn't do so well in 2wd but finished 3rd in the Bmain 4wd. It was a nice track.
