Ahhh, The Rocket wedge, That along with the old Andy's outlaw wedge were my and probably still are my alltime favorite body's.

It was really hard to get any front shock tower to fit underneath the Rocket, McCallisters kit was about the only thing close so most of us made our own back in the day. Somewher I have some more old pictures but I haven't found that box yet.

this is amazing seeing this, as *I* used to race at the original "Ascot Raceway" in Gardena California. Lil ole' dirt track.... ahhh.. nice memories.

I like the hoovers hobby decals. I have about 20 or more decal sheets. what ever happened to george. i went to the hobby shop one day and it was closed up. I spent many pay checks there.

Man, I practically lived at that hobby shop as a teen.

Last I had heard, George was selling luggage in a department store. That was MANY years ago. I know he had heath problems for a little while there, too.

I wish I did. Most of those photos that I have of old cars was for the paint jobs and not for the actual car underneath.

yeah i know what you mean! all of my old pics are of the body on. i guess i never thought that someday i'd be nostalgic for the older chassis as well. keep those older pics coming though. i love seeing them.
